Weapons and Characters design of a cancelled project

Back in 2019, I was fortunate to be involved in this project at Garena, I met a lot of talented colleagues who gave me a lot of creative motivation, I cherish that time and learnt a lot from it.
I was responsible for discussing and designing the game's characters with my teammates. We put much effort into giving the characters a rich sense of storytelling and creating a stronger emotional connection with the player.
The weapon system is very complex. Players can use the accessories they pick up in the battlefield to assemble weapons to their satisfaction, which requires establishing strict design guidelines so that each accessory meets the power, belongs to the manufacturer, and is compatible, we spent a lot of time discussing the weapon system.
This was my first time designing firearms in a shooter game, and it was a challenging task for me that inspired a superb amount of creative passion, as well as countless sleepless nights and lost hair.
